Alexander Vidal is an illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles. Commissioned by the likes of Adidas, National Parks and Airbnb, his distinct style uses strong shapes, themed colour palettes and screen printing effects to create animals, people, places and even gin and tonics.
Vidal is often inspired by his home of Southern California, and his technique works well for this subject. He captures the sunny, laid-back personality of this region by portraying modernist architecture, street food culture and strong Mexican influences, and his work is filled with plenty of character.
