Type the word “blog” into Google’s search engine and in less than a
second, it will return 46,900,000 results. That seems about right.
These days everyone has one. A blog-the term comes from the combination
of Web and log-is essentially an online diary. Blogs are easy to set up
using free software, and easy to maintain. And that explains, in part,
why there are millions of them. Literally.
