Teatros Luchana, a new performing arts venue in Madrid, Spain, features modern and experimental plays, with four separate stages to showcase its productions. Barcelona-based design studio Toormix created a corporate identity, advertising campaigns and environmental graphics that play on the theater’s mission and personality. Printed with vibrant pinks and greens, promotional material for each stage uses different typefaces that best represent its character—the typefaces are also used in signage to help theatergoers find their appropriate performance. Toormix collaborated with ad agency FARR to develop a print campaign for the theater, featuring double exposed shots of actors with different expressions and the tagline “más por sentir,” translating to “more for feel.”
