Human Interest: Portraits from the Whitney’s Collection explores diverse approaches to portraiture and examines the ways in which artists have redefined the genre over the past fifty years. Drawn entirely from the Museum’s collection, it features work by Diane Arbus, Glenn Ligon, and Andy Warhol, among many others.

Later this month, a second floor of the exhibition will open on Floor Seven.
