The Cliff-Top Shelter Sits Among the Rocks and Pine Tree
Architect Philipp Bretschneider of Munich built this small shelter as a quiet retreat away from a large family’s busy holiday home. Accessible via a footpath between rocks and pine trees, the pavillion overlooks the island below. Its construction was simple but efficient: a steel structure supports the ceiling and floor plates, both of which are finished with wood planks. The structure is modern with clean lines that effortlessly complement the natural features of its site.
