Irina and Silviu are a duo of self-taught collage artists based in the UK. Their collection of surreal images is both engaging and highly unsettling.

A headless woman sits in a rocking chair, a macabre take on Whistler’s Mother. Two horses exist across multiple dimensions, their heads obscured behind layers of painting. And a nude woman sprawls beneath a grid of ornate frames and canvas, overlooked by a sideways figure in black and white.

Although seemingly random in their content, the collages all encompass found images and antique book covers. Discover more at www.irinasilviu.com.
