We’ve shared the global project of Julien de Casabianca previously, where the French visual artist and filmmaker encourages people to take some of the most prestigious paintings to city streets all over the world.

The ongoing Outings initiative, which encourages anyone anywhere to take a photograph on their mobile phone of artwork in a gallery and ‘set them free’ on the streets, transforming the urban landscape into unique art galleries. The project has proved to be so popular, it has spread to five continents and more than 20 countries since its inception.
