This collection of otherworldly artworks is the result of a visual experiment using Houdini and Octane render, by Moscow-based designer, Vladimir Shelest.
Most of Shelest’s work holds themes of science fiction and space travel, using geometric shapes and deep colour palettes to convey a sense of the ethereal.
His work has featured in WIRED, Fortune and Popular Mechanics magazine, and past clients include GQ Russia, Eurovision, Panasonic and Kraft to name but a few.
As a freelance digital artist, Shelest has created an entire universe of characters alongside several film concepts, which you can check out here.
